New patent attorneys will learn to conduct prior art searches, conduct freedom-to-operate (FTO) studies, prepare and prosecute complex patent applications, negotiate intellectual property transactions, and counsel clients in various matters including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and tradedress.

The qualifications we seek in associate attorney candidates include: a high aptitude for quickly mastering advanced scientific and technological subject matter; the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing; the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment; and a record of outstanding academic and non-academic achievement.
